Afrigator HowTo: Logging in with your OpenID

So, you have signed up with your OpenID or you have migrated your existing account to use OpenID as the preferred authentication method. Here is how the loggin in works now.

If you don’t know what I’m talking about:

If you do not know what OpenID is, please read this first.

If you are new to Afrigator and want to sign up using your OpenID, click here to see how.

Alllllllriiiiiighty then. Go to http://afrigator.com and on the right hand side of the page, click on the “Log in” link.

In stead of entering your user name and password combination, you can now simply enter your OpenID (that is in the form of a URL). Once entered, click the “login” button.

An authentication process will now happen. You will be either redirected to your provider’s site and be required to log on

or if you are authenticated over at your provider AND Afrigator is a trusted site, you will simply be redirected back to the Afrigator Dashboard and be logged in. Wonderful stuff…
