KKNK! Whatah00t!
On Thursday we decided we’ll go see what is happening over at the KKNK. I’m still suffering very, VERY much… It was a total friggin’ JOL! Partied mostly at the Klipdrift Klip-innie-bos party place on Thursday night and again on Saturday night and man, it was fantastic!
Bands/singers I cannot NOT mention. They entertained to the bloody bone! I dunno if it was the wine, the general mood of the crowd or whatever, but Pieter Smith, Valiant Swart with Ollie Viljoen, DJ Ossewa and Ghapi, you friggin’ ROCKED! It was damn amazing. Thank you! Most of this music (the exception being Ghapi) is not the kind of music I listen to normally, but at that moment, these guys made it special! It was such a great party!
Oh and before I forget! To Chris, Graham and the Stormhoek guys, your “High Class Hoeker” t-shirt is a winner! One girl offered to take off her shirt right there in the crowded street to swop for mine. Fortunately my wife and concious was present so we directed her to the Stormhoek web site and said she must first drink a ton of Stormhoek before she qualifies for such a great t-shirt and that fortunately the wine is awesome so it would be easy to do the ton!
Oh, another thing, I would have loved to rock at this party(ies) with Sessa and Uno. Dunno why…

hheh, Stiaan, nie geweet jy gaan nie! I was a mere 100 or so KM away from KKNK. I decided that KKNK was a bit too much for my easter break and myself and my Girlfriend stayed over in Barrydale the weekend. Also went up just before Ladismith to do some horseback riding.
I’ve had some crazy, crazy times @ KKNK. Should definitely make a plan for next year. Where did you stay?
Heh, my sister-in-law lives in Oudtshoorn, so we don’t have accommodation issues! This year was particularly nice. People that attended was different. At least seemed different. The vibe was much more chilled! The parties was no less hEcTiC though!
Forgive my tears. It is the first KKNK I missed in ten years. SOB !
