Great customer service by Autozone

Two of my car’s welsh plugs broke. They “corroded”… Lucky for me, a friend’s father is a mechanic and he said that he will fix it for me. (I know NOTHING of car/engines…) I decided that while there is going to be work done on the car, we might as well service it. Off I went to Autozone to buy what is needed including 2 welsh plugs!

Got there and a guy called Pierre helped me. Unfortunately they had no welsh plugs in stock.

Normally what would happen is that they will refer you to another motor spare parts shop and you would have to go there and ask if they might have. Not Pierre! He immediately got on the phone and phoned Autozone’s competition to find out if they had plugs in stock. Got the price, ordered it and kept it aside for me. All I now had to go do is to go pick it up and pay for it. Made my life soooo extremely simple.

I thank you Pierre! You got yourself an evangelist. That is an excellent example of “going that extra mile” for your customers! If you ever get stuck in George and need to buy any spare parts, then do not even think twice about it. Autozone is the place to go!

Pierre, you need a raise man! You’ve done a simple thing which books have been written about! Keep it up.

  Man I gotta tell you FFS that that man Pierre really does go out of his way to deliver service excellence. I am a regular supporter of Autozone George for that very reason. Funny things is that they also happen to be the least costly of all the local spares outlets as well. I can only speak well of them.
