Wordpress 2.0.6 - before you upgrade!

If you are using Wordpress then read this before you upgrade to version 2.0.6!

There is a bug with the serving of the RSS Feeds and some readers cannot get the latest posts most of the times. Feedburner is one and I’ve had some experiences with Flock’s reader too. So before you upgrade (and upgrade you must!) you must first install a patch to fix the problem.

On there is the fix which is the made in the functions.php file that you will have to download/save and upload to your /wp-includes directory. But please remember to upgrade first and then upload the file!

  Hey Mike, if you blog on Wordpress.com you don’t need to worry about upgrades, however if you host your own Wordpress blog then you need to upgrade.
