muti.co.za = True Web 2.0
Yes folks! South Africa is NOT very far behind the rest of the world! Muti.co.za is our very own social bookmarking site and it KICKS ASS! I’m really impressed. And its true Web 2.0!
You create a profile for yourself, add a button on your taskbar in Firefox/Flock and go get some muti! Other people can vote your muti up or down. Seriously, I love it!
FYI, Muti is traditional medicine in South Africa that consist of various herbs and other weird stuff…
From wikipedia:
“Muti is a term for traditional medicine in Southern Africa. The word Muti is derived from the Zulu
word for tree, of which the root is -thi. African Traditional Medicine
makes use of various natural products, many of which are derived from
trees. For this reason, medicine generally is known as Muti. In
Southern Africa, the word Muti is in widespread use in most indigenous
African languages, as well as in South African English and Afrikaans where it is sometimes used as a slang word for medicine in general.”
And what is extremely cool is that you can get your daily muti via RSS feeds. Nice…

I’m on the lookout for more, tag for:plusque & muti on del.icio.us if you spot any.
Stii - Neville and I are working on a new logo for Muti now so hopefully it will fit in better with all the little icons you have for the other social networking sites.
muti ROCKS!
P.S. Thanx for the comment.
